Abstract:
This project collected information on snow cover, geocryology, soil properties, and ground temperature, in western Siberia, Russia. Ground temperature was measured every 0.5 m to a depth of 3 m; every 1.0 m to a depth of 10 m; and every 2 to 5 m below 10 m. Data were collected during 1967-69, 1974, 1979-80, and 1986-2002. The data are presents as engineering-geocryological maps (scale 1:500 to 1:2000), sections, and tables. Data are stored at the National Geocryological Fund, Moscow, under the following Archive Numbers: 3957; 13957; 14329; 16640; 16036; 10201; 9499(6689 a,b); 11856; 16718; 16718a; 17000; 17768; 17002; 17580; 13092(10967); 15834; 16900; 20393; 20385; 20525; 21070; 11291(8111); 12605(10168); 14519; 15487; 16903; 18227; 20695; 20921; 20641; 20645; 20666; 18538; 21897;21975; 17553; 18571; 18456; 20196; 21172; 17432; 17491; 17943; 18511; 19906; 20322; 21529; 18474; 19753; 19984; 20155; 20361; 20452; 20870; 21368; 21596; and 21908.
